When I’ve come home a bit late from work to a cold supper and wife has asked, “I guess you were pretty busy at the office, right?” My not-so-swift response…”Nah, I was just chatting with my staff.” (who happens to be female and, of course, not a female who is 97 years old with a walker,glass eye, and false teeth).
The cure for this one—even though I told the truth—is to not hang around and talk with the staff after work to begin with. :~)
I think Tim Hawkins sang a very awesome/creative song. What he has to say is soooo true. (Thank God my wife isn’t fat, therefore this song would be a lot more realistic.) Nice work!
I suggest something that would really fire up her attitude by telling your wife that your “not working hard enough!” Whatever she’s doing.
