Your Personal Involvement Can Bless Many Families…
Hi, my name is Joey Watkins, founder of FamilyDads and developer of the FamilyDads.com website and e-Newsletters. My wife and I launched this ministry by faith in God’s provision which we believe includes the willingness of people like you to get personally involved with FamilyDads.
The days are growing increasingly spiritually dark, and each father that is leading and prioritizing his family according to God’s plan and His Word represents many lives and generations of people that are eternally impacted for God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, as well as the current impact on society for good. A father’s role is critically important in the family. Only a father has “father power” in his family. Fathers are God’s “Plan A” for evangelism, discipleship, leadership, and worship at the family level.
If you believe in the vision and purpose of FamilyDads and find the content of the blog posts and e-Newsletters to be helpful, please prayerfully consider getting involved personally with FamilyDads.
If you can make a financial donation, it would be a tremendous help to us. Giving instructions are at the end of this post.
How You Can Help
FamilyDads and DadResources.com are a full-time vocational focus for me. This means my time is allocated to it instead of working another job or business to make money. Here are seven specific ways you can get involved:
1) Prayer. Pray for me, my family, the FamilyDads e-Newsletters subscribers, and the website visitors to FamilyDads.com. Feel free to email me whenever God impresses you to share something with me.
2) Resources. Whenever you need a book, audio, video, or other resource related to your family, faith, marriage, finances, etc., please shop at DadResources.com
3) Search Engine. We receive a small donation from iSearchiGive each time you use their search engine relationship with Yahoo! for your web searches. Please bookmark this link and use it as your primary search engine.
4) Skills. Are you a writer? Can you transcribe? Have webpage development skills? Graphic Designer? Video editing? Marketing experience? Needs often arise in each of these and other areas. Email us with your skills, whatever they may be.
5) Networking. Do you have connections with media broadcasters, website owners, pastors, business owners, or leaders of other family-related ministries? These can lead to opportunities for FamilyDads to receive exposure to new audiences, listeners, readers, and viewers. Our heart is to impact as many families as possible by ministering to dads.
6) Tell Others. Forward your FamilyDads emails to other parents you know and encourage them to subscribe. If you have an audience on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, your own website, or elsewhere, post links to FamilyDads blog posts that you like.
7) Financial Donations. Last but not least! FamilyDads receives no significant financial assistance from churches, denominations, or other groups. The primary funding comes from resource sales at DadResources.com and the faithful individual supporters who give willingly and generously. No amount is too small or too large. Financial donations to FamilyDads can be made online or via mail. If you make your gift a recurring monthly donation, it will help cover our ongoing monthly costs.
(Please Note: FamilyDads has chosen not to register as a “501″ organization under US Internal Revenue Code. If you seek to gain tax-related benefit from your donations to FamilyDads, please consult your tax advisor.)
May your involvement with FamilyDads be richly blessed exponentially back to you, and may God keep you, shine His countenance upon you, and give you and your family generations peace forever.

Hi Joey,
Thank you for being obedient to our LORD in starting and and servicing this ministry. I am truly blessed by it. Your encouragements and challenges confirm a lot of issues that the Lord is dealing with me on. We lost a 24 year old daughter in an accident last year. She was a vet. Your messages brought comfort during the most difficult and darkest times of our lives. Thank you and continue the good work. God bless you my brother.

I appreciate your ministry – but the priorities of my giving do not allow me to spread myself any thinner than I currently am.
please understand I really appreciate you but am not able to put my money where my mouth is – at least not yet!

Joey, Good evening. I hope all is going well. My wife and will have been married for two years this October and we are truely blessed from our Lord God with a healthy/happy baby girl! She is exactly 5 months old and my wife introduced your website to me. This past Father’s Day she bought me a couple books on fatherhood. One of them is “She Calls Me Daddy.” It’s so knowledgable and personal. I have highlighted it and marked the pages to refer back to when she becomes older. You have given me access to tools to become the best father I can be THANK YOU!

Hello Joey.
My apology for not communicating back. We do receive the mails and they are a big blessing to my life. I have two children a girl and a boy and your advise from mails comes just at the right moment all the time. I feel God is using you to communicate with people like myself.
